Dr. Lisa G. Johnson-Fernandez is an accomplished Human Resource Director with over 15 years of expertise in strategic HR planning, compliance, staffing, employee benefits, training, and management coaching. She has advanced from Operations Manager at Global Commerce and Services to her current leadership role, where she has successfully supported government contracts for DISA, NASA, and NFC.
Dr. Johnson-Fernandez holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, an MBA in Human Resources, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, both from the University of Phoenix. She is certified in the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act, holds a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification, and is a long-time member of SHRM and NOLA SHRM.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Johnson-Fernandez is the founder of “Just Girlfriends,” a nonprofit supporting young professionals in balancing work and personal life. She owns 1Unique Events and Designs, LLC, and is a Diamond Consultant with Paparazzi Accessories. She also serves as President of the Board for A Closer Walk Meeting the Needs Ministry and as Secretary of the St. Bernard Parish NAACP, where she advocates for minority education and community advancement.
